derek spent the majority of his life in the armed forces as a fleet marine force corpsman with multiple deployments to Iraq. During his time in service he happened to be the clinical manager of a busy geriatric clinic at the naval hospital, naples, italy. the mission of living dynasty is near and dear to his heart, as he has experienced first hand, the loss of many loved ones, too include his own father.
